Sergio Barbosa is a Computer Engineering with an emphasis in Computer Network, MBA in Universidade de São Paulo (USP). Sergio has thirty-three years working as an employee of Banco do Brasil S.A., the largest federal Brazilian public bank, where he held several job positions throughout his professional career.
Besides that, he has twenty-five years of experience as a manager, consultant, and designer of technical solutions concerning bank automation and business, Internet, data and voice communication, storage, information protection and distribution.
Three years working abroad, in an official project of the Brazilian Government, designing, implementing, and managing the network of data communication of Banco do Brasil- BB-WorldNet in European countries, Asia, South America and North America. One year working as a consultant to the Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture (IICA), United Nations (UN) agency, developing the Modernization Plan of Technical Infrastructure of the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply (MAPA). One year working as a consultant to the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations (UN), developing the Modernization Plan of Technical Infrastructure of the Ministry of Environment (MMA).
