He has litigated a wide variety of claims, including premises liability, food poisoning, automobile liability, workers’ compensation, and personal injury protection, among others. Mr. Weber has also handled criminal and transactional matters over the years; more recently, Mr. Weber’s practice focused on defending first-party homeowners insurance actions–from the catastrophic claims of hurricane seasons to the current everyday needs of his carrier clients.
A native of the coastal Carolinas—born in Charleston, SC and raised in Wilmington, NC—Mr. Weber is a proud graduate of East Carolina University. At ECU, he majored in television production and business administration before deciding to try his hand in law. While earning a Juris Doctorate from UM, Mr. Weber was actively involved in the Student Bar Association and the Phi Alpha Delta legal fraternity. He honed his legal writing skills as an intern at the Office of the Attorney General of North Carolina, concentrating on criminal appellate work–gaining a keen insight into the operation of state government.
A twenty-year resident of Miami Beach, Mr. Weber loves all things involving sports, the water, and the outdoors. He is a member of The Florida Bar, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Dade County Bar Association.
Mr. Weber now applies his broad experience to the HAYMAN-WOODWARD holding group as general counsel for its companies, identifying and addressing its in-house legal needs.
