The restriction for Brazilian tourists entering into the United States of America continues to apply. The change that occurred last week was the end of the obligation for flights originating in countries, such as Brazil, for example, to be directed to only one of the fifteen American airports with screening centers against Covid-19.
The note issued by the U.S. Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) on September 9th and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) does not change the restrictions imposed by executive order.
In May 2020, President Trump signed a proclamation suspending the entry into the United States of any foreign national or Brazilian who was present in Brazil during the fourteen day period preceding entry or attempted entry into the United States due to the continued rise in the rate of infections in Brazil.
Therefore, Brazilian tourists still need to quarantine before entering the U.S.
Below is a list of those who can enter the USA without restrictions:
* Permanent residents;
* American citizens;
* Spouses of American citizens; and
* Parents of minor American citizens.
