The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has also confirmed the growth trend in the helicopter pilot market, with a projected employment growth rate of 6% from 2018 to 2028.

In 2023, the average salary of a helicopter pilot in the United States is $89,418 per year, reflecting the value and demand for these professionals.
