Ms. Escobar grew up in San Salvador, El Salvador and immigrated to the United States at the age of 17. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Baylor University in 2006 with a double major in Finance and International Business. Ms. Escobar earned her Juris Doctor degree from South Texas College of Law in 2014. She is a professional with legal experience in various immigration matters.
Ms. Escobar combines zealous advocacy to successfully represent clients in their immigration process. During law school, Ms. Escobar was a member of the Hispanic Law Student Association and advanced to the semi-finals in the South Texas Mock Trial Challenge.
She also participated in the Asylum and Human Trafficking Clinic which she completed with a prestigious High Pass and earned the On the Spot Award from United State Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Texas. Ms. Escobar has litigated cases, which included drafting civil complaints against traffickers; prepared clients and witnesses to testify in asylum cases; conducted investigative activities against potential violators, prepared T visas, U visas, and asylum applications, and represented clients in administrative hearings. In addition to being licensed by the State Bar of Texas in 2015, Ms. Escobar is a Certified Mediator since 2013.
