Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Danilo Dias has over 25 years of executive experience in the security, consulting, aviation, ports, oil and gas, high-tech, telecommunications, and retail industries, and spent the last 15 years managing business units.
He was Vice President for Latin America at SITA and Vision Box, as part of the global management team, as well as former CEO of Smiths Detection Brasil. Previously he was responsible for the technology, procurement, and telecommunications departments at Shell and AMBEV.
Mr. Dias is a Sloan Fellow in Management, Innovation and Technology, from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and also a Visiting Scholar in M&A and Strategy from the University of Michigan, Ross Business School. He holds an MBA from Coppead with a focus on Finance, a Postgraduate degree in Marketing from FGV, systems analysis by PUC, and Telecommunications Engineer by Universidade Federal Fluminense.
Mr. Dias was also an advisor board member of the Instituto Besc in the area of infrastructure and logistics. He co-authored the book Success Story and Prepaid and the wealth at the base of the Pyramid.
Mr. Dias, a Mentor of UNY and University of Michigan start-up programs, now brings his experience to HAYMAN-WOODWARD as its Chief Operating Officer.
