Global Mobility Company Also Supports Athletes in Various Sports
At HAYMAN-WOODWARD, we are pleased to announce our sponsorship of tennis player Thiago Seyboth Wild, currently the number one in Brazil. Thiago, who won the junior US Open title in 2018, is one of Brazil’s top prospects in the Roland Garros 2024 tournament, which begins this Sunday, May 26, and runs until June 9.
We are excited to support Thiago throughout his season, including important competitions such as Roland Garros and Wimbledon Tournament, scheduled for July this year. Our main goal with this sponsorship is not only to strengthen our brand’s global recognition but also to encourage the international careers of Brazilian athletes.
For us at HAYMAN-WOODWARD, sports are an essential part of each country’s culture, just like music and gastronomy. We believe that sponsoring talented athletes like Thiago Seyboth Wild reflects the dedication and passion we have for our work and our clients. As CEO of HAYMAN-WOODWARD, Leonardo Freitas, I affirm that sports are an area in which we want to invest more and more, as it represents values we consider fundamental: dedication, effort, and overcoming challenges.
In addition to Thiago Seyboth Wild, we are also proud to sponsor other athletes, such as Léo Freitas, Brazilian skimboard vice-champion and eighth in the world ranking of the sport. This support began at the end of last year and is another example of our commitment to developing talent in various sports.
Thiago Seyboth Wild has been consolidating his position on the world tennis scene, reaching 58th place in the ATP ranking in May this year. He has recorded significant victories against top 20 players in prestigious tournaments such as the ATP Masters 1000 in Indian Wells, Miami, and Madrid. In 2020, at 19, he made history by winning the Santiago title, becoming the first ATP Tour champion born in 2000 and the youngest Brazilian champion in the Open Era, defeating Casper Ruud in the final.
Another milestone in Thiago’s career was his impressive victory over the then world number 2, Daniil Medvedev, in his Grand Slam debut at Roland Garros in 2023. Thiago began his journey on clay in 2019, with a victory over Elias Ymer in São Paulo. In the Challenger circuit, he has a record of 99 wins and 74 losses, with five finals played and four titles won in 2023, in Vina del Mar, Buenos Aires, Como, and Genoa.
This series of achievements and standout performances has solidified Thiago Seyboth Wild as a prominent figure on the international tennis scene. We are proud to support his journey and trust that he will continue to achieve great feats, representing the spirit and values of HAYMAN-WOODWARD in the world of sports.
