Junior Business Development Manager
I started my career at CVC, the biggest tour operator in Latin America in 2005. I joined the teams as an intern in the financial department and worked my way up. After a few months I was promoted to sales, then to Sales Supervisor B2B and, finally, Sales Manager B2C. In 2013 I was promoted to General Sales Manager, managing 3 stores.
In 2021 I joined 123milhas, which was, at that time, the third largest online travel agency in Brazil as a Customer Experience Supervisor. I knew it was a step back for me, but I believed that both I and the company would grow. And it happened. I left the company in the end of 2022 as a Customer Experience Manager and the company was the largest online travel agency in Brazil.
In 2023 I joined AloraTour, a very small travel agency and I was able to get excellent results for the company increasing their sales. By the end of 2023, we had sold over 3 million reais in travel products, from hotel reservations to travel packages.
But I was aiming for the US job market since I was approved for my green card. I saw an opportunity to join Hayman’Woodward’s team as a Business Development Manager and I approached Leo Freitas on his Instagram asking for a chance to introduce myself. after a few weeks I got the news I was hired.
I am 43 years old and I am married to Ana Paula. We have two daughters, Mila (5) and rafaela (9). We should be moving to the US in february of 2025 and we are considering moving to Houston.
